A BOUNCE workshop provides teachers and physical educators with the tools needed to implement an innovative movement program using balance balls:
All students including those with special needs can easily participate at their own level of comfort and ability.
Balls are seen as a ‘fun’ activity. They can motivate students who are reluctant to participate in regular classes because of coordination issues or lack of confidence.
Ball routines improve cardiovascular and respiratory function
Activities on the ball help to increase focus and calm alertness during and after exercises.
Pressure from the ball increases student’s awareness of their body.
The balance ball is always unstable and moving. Sitting on a ball is a dynamic exercise which requires a constant adjustment of the body.
“The benefits of this program for our kids are phenomenal.”
“It gave staff a plan for providing structured physical activity on a daily basis.”
“I was amazed at the goals that my students achieved.”
“The ball program had huge benefits for our kids. I have seen huge success with regards to the overall reduction of disruptive behaviour.”
“I was able to provide activities for my kids as a group which is very hard to do in my class”
BOUNCE workshops can be customized for individual classes or the entire school. For further details please contact us.
